Dear DAWGS family,

It was autumn before we knew it and there is still so much to be done
before winter! But here's some good news! With all your great help and support,
we have our first little weather-proof barn up and running (complete with electricity, running water and plumbing).

THANK YOU ALL SO VERY MUCH for helping to make this possible.

We thought you would enjoy seeing the barn go up and have included some
photos. Due to the size of the file, we are trying to send it without the attachments. Hope this works!

In a separate email,we have a happy tail to share about Goldie, a little golden retriever puppy.

P.S. Hannah is a fourth grader who has been coming to the shelter for the last two years. She made an interesting observation the other day: she said the shelter is like the "little engine that could--we just keep "thinking we
can....thinking we can....thinking we can....and finally we make it!" Together we make a difference.
