About Me...

I am a spayed Chow Chow/ Border Collie mix and have been at DAWGS for two years. I was found wandering on the north side of our town. I had been a stray in the area for over two years and had three litters of puppies. During the winter, a kind person saw me trying to find food in a dumpster and worried that I would fall in. I was very pregnant, soaking wet, and teetering on the edge of the large dumpster. The woman coaxed me down, gave me some food and called DAWGS to help.

They immediately picked me up, dried me off, placed me on some warm blankets, and gave me some good food. Within two days I delivered four healthy puppies and was happy and content. My puppies were quickly adopted and are in wonderful homes but I am still at the shelter waiting for my forever home. I developed a skin condition that is being treated and hope to be available again for adoption. In the meantime, I would love to have someone sponsor my care.
